More News!

As if crawling this week wasn't enough. Miss Ava has decided to start clapping. She'd been working on it a bit the week before. Just kinda putting her hands together, but not making any noise. Finally the other day, she slapped them together and "clap!". The look on her face was priceless! She now takes great delight in just sitting and clapping. She laughs and smiles and is quite pleased with her accomplishment.

Having a baby around, to remind you of the small delights in life, is certainly a good thing. :)

T-minus 4 days until Johanna starts pre-k. She's really excited! I'm excited. We're both a bit nervous. Her just about going to school, me about getting us all up and dressed and out of the house in time. It certainly is going to be a change. It's not like we sleep in. I mean we are generally up by 6:30am. It's just getting motivated to get showered and dressed and out the door that will be the issue. :)

Today we went off and did some shopping at Target. We had way to much fun in the $1.00 Section. We also got lots of boring basics, and some "Archer Farms" snacks that Daddy likes. We also picked up a gift for Johanna's buddy. Her birthday is this weekend.

Then, seeing as how it was like 80-something out, we ran thru the Starbucks drive-by. Johanna really likes the Strawberries-n-creme Frappucino. I got my 2pt coffee light one, and we headed off to OUAC. I had filled up my frequent buyer card, so my 20% off was burning a hole in my wallet. LOL

I found a bunch of PJ's there for Ava and some cute outfits. I found this totally adorable sweater too. J got this kitty grooming toy. It has a kitty in a carried with a comb and some other stuff. She had a blast playing with it all evening. All in all it was a good day with my girls. MUCH better than yesterday, for sure!
