In The Know: Has Halloween Become Overcommercialized?

One year ago today...

Many of us learned our Dear friend, Evie, lost her long, hard fought battle with cancer.

There's not a day that goes by that we don't miss her. She meant so much to so many of us.

For us today is also day of joy and celebration, as 7 years ago, after 4 years of trying we finally had the baby we longed for for so long. Evie was so happy for us, and happier still when Ava came along.

Today not only will we be celebrating a birthday, but we will also be celebrating Evie's life, for I know she'd not want us to mourn her passing, but remember what a joyous life she led. Even through her hardest times, her strong will shone through.

We miss you Evie, and I know you are up there somewhere, looking down on all of us today and reminding us to celebrate! :) Love ya!
